On Tuesday, July 23, 2019, the South Shore Country Club's Women's Golf Association hosted the annual Dana-Farber Pink Ribbon Golf Tournament.  This was the first year that all funds donated went directly to the local Breast Care Center at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth.  While the weather did not cooperate and golf was cancelled, there were over a hundred people who attended the fundraiser luncheon.

Jen Croes, the Executive Director of the Cancer Center, spoke at the lunch and provided an overview of the impact of the event's fundraising activities.

There were numerous fundraisers that were held including raffle items, a 50-50, a scratch off lottery ticket board, and a reserved parking spot raffle.  The event raised $10,915 which will go directly to the Breast Care Center at South Shore Hospital.
