Third Thursday Stroll – This Thursday, August 20th
Downtown Hingham Launches Third Thursday Strolls – shop, dine and explore Downtown Hingham Beginning this Thursday evening
The Hingham Downtown Association is excited to announce the first Third Thursday Stroll. There will be “lots to see from the Center to the Sea!” Participating stores, from Hingham Center through Downtown, and all the way to the harbor will stay open until 7:00PM.
Enjoy patio dining at Caffe Tosca, The Snug or The Square Café, and indoor dining at Tosca and Stars. Restaurants will feature special themed cocktails and menu items.
Explore Downtown and learn a little piece of history! Free 30-minute tours of historic Downtown Hingham will be offered by The Hingham Historical Society on the hour at 4,5,6 and 7 (this is an express version of their normal tour). Ten strollers with proof of purchase from a local business are welcome at each tour. Tours begin at the black Info Kiosk across from Brewed Awakenings.
There will also be “Seaside” themed raffle prize giveaway. Items for the giveaway were generously donated by local shops. With every purchase from a shop, customers will be entered to win the raffle contest. People can also post a picture on social media outside of a store or restaurant with the #thirdthursday02043 hashtag, and enter to win.
The Third Thursday Stroll will be a monthly event, taking place on the third Thursday of each month through December.
