The Trustees of Reservations (The Trustees) today announces the final concert of the Weir River Farm summer season, Blues at the Farm, Saturday, October 8th.

This concert is outdoors, on the lawn at 140 Turkey Hill Lane. The gate opens at 2:30pm. The concert begins at 3PM and goes until dusk. A rain date is scheduled for Sunday, October 9. Guests are invited to pack a picnic, shop the Weir River Farm Store, or enjoy a snack from the Flying Fins food truck. Barrel House Z will serve up craft brews.

This is a unique opportunity to hear Blues Music Award winners Anthony Geraci, piano, and Billy Price, vocals, in between their European tours this fall. Geraci, BMA Award Winner in 2021, has played behind some of the most influential Blues musicians of the 20th century. He is an original member of both Sugar Ray & the Bluetones and Ronnie Earl & the Broadcasters, and has been recognized for his contributions on numerous albums by nominations from both the Blues Foundation's Blues Music Awards and the Grammys. American Blues/Soul singer Billy Price first attracted national attention during his three-year association with guitarist Roy Buchanan. He has released over 20 albums including his 2015 recording with Otis Clay, This Time for Real, which received a Blues Music Award in the category of Soul Blues Album. The mighty Boston Blues All-Stars includes Barrett Anderson - guitar, Paul Loranger - bass, and Kurt Kalker - drums, all seasoned veterans of the international Blues scene.

Opening again this year is the Erin Harpe Country Blues Duo, featuring award-winning singer, songwriter, and guitarist Erin Harpe and her husband and longtime musical partner, Jim Countryman. Living Blues has crowned Erin “one of the finest fingerpicking acoustic blues singers in the land.”

Audience members are encouraged to pack picnic blankets and folding chairs. Tickets are $30/adults, $15/children. Trustees Members are $24/adults, $12/children. Children under 2 years old are free.

Free parking is available at 140 Turkey Hill Lane, in Hingham. We love our furry friends, however, as this is a working farm with live animals, dogs are not permitted on the property. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit: https://thetrustees.org/event/74761/

  1. How do I order tix to the blues show. The link wants me to look up my membership, but I’m not a member. I want to buy the $30 non-member tix. Thx
