"Please pardon the appearance of the Whitney Gordon’s Jewelers while our storefront gets a much-needed and necessary facelift," is the message owners Michael and Lorrie Campbell wish to convey to new and loyal customers. The shop will remain open for business during the construction work.
Whitney Gordon’s has been in business since 1950, and the Campbells have owned it for 34 years -- since 1985.
Some passersby were confused by the boarded-up window, thinking the shop was closing, and the Campbells wanted to set the record straight. They are looking forward to many more years in the business.
Oh, hooray! Good news! I was afraid they had closed up after so many years. Looking forward to seeing the beautiful window displays again soon.
