We are currently experiencing another COVID-19 related surge, with the spread of the omicron variant affecting homes, schools, and workplaces, including health care.

According to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Covid-19 Interactive Dashboard, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has been steadily increasing since the beginning of November 2021.  On November 3, 2021, the reported seven-day average of confirmed COVID-19 cases was 1,298 while the most recent data from January 17, 2022 shows a seven-day average of 10,409 confirmed COVID-19 cases.

Michelle Balconi, Executive Director of Harbor Media, Hingham’s Community Access Television station interviewed Dr. Daniel Kuritzkes, Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a founding member of Mass General Brigham, about COVID-19, the Omicron variant and what we can do to stop the spread of this virus.

You can view the interview below or by clicking here.

Dr. Kuritzkes advises that “we can bring this pandemic to a close if we can ensure that we protect ourselves and our communities. It is a shared responsibility.”

Here are a few suggestions from Dr. Kuritzkes’ interview with Harbor Media on how we can prevent the spread of COVID-19.

  1. That Americans have literally hung on every word from people like Dr. Fauci and Dr. Kuritzke who say that the vaccine prevents the spread of Covid demonstrates just what a degenerate, brainwashed nation we have become. It’s embarrassing.

“Encourage family and friends to get the vaccine if they haven’t already done so.”

Says the person given a bonus for shots injected or paid holidays for conferences. Brought to you by Pfizer!

As of today, 49% of people hospitalized for Covid in MA are vaccinated. Look it up. What a farce.
