VOLUNTEERS HONORED AT HINGHAM HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The Hingham Historical Society honored its 2018 volunteers on Sunday, January 13, 2019 with a sneak peak of its forthcoming promotional film, The Future of Hingham History at historic Loring Hall Cinema followed by brunch at the Hingham Heritage Museum at Old Derby. The Society relies annually on over 100 volunteers to provide tours of Old Ordinary and the Hingham Heritage Museum, work in its archives, staff the Museum Shop, manage the nation’s oldest Historic House Tour, maintain its buildings and serve on its board. Dave Scott of Patriot Cinema generously provided access to Loring Hall to view the film produced by Hingham resident John Rice of Above the Line Productions. Starbucks on Lincoln St donated the coffee. Photos courtesy of Susanne Malloy Photography.
