Hot & Humid Kick-Off to Summer

Monday is the first full day of summer, and it will feel like it! Temperatures in Hingham will flirt with 90 degrees under sunny skies, and it will feel very humid.

Tuesday will also be quite muggy, but clouds will increase ahead of a cold front. That front will eventually bring scattered showers and storms during the day as well, which will keep temperatures in the low to middle 80s.

That same front will also help to deflect Tropical Storm Claudette out to sea, away from New England, after it soaks the southeast.

Refreshing Mid-Week

Sunshine returns Wednesday and Thursday, as does much more comfortable air.

Humidity will be low, and high temperatures will be back in the 70s, allowing a break for the air conditioners.

A few more clouds will creep in Friday, but temperatures during the day should also be in the 70s, with nighttime temperatures during this stretch in the upper 50s to low 60s.

Showers Possible Next Weekend

It's too early to know timing for sure, but it does look like the risk of pop up showers and storms increases a bit next weekend, particularly by Sunday.

Temperatures also look to edge back closer to, or into, the 80s by that point a well.
