On Monday, January 29 Downtown Hingham buzzed with energy as local Hingham Public School’s staff, students, parents and supporters gathered for a rally to support local teachers and paraeducators currently negotiating for a new contract with the Town of Hingham.  The rally began at Red Eye Roasters where attendees walked through Downtown Hingham to the intersection in front of  Brewed Awakenings holding signs and chanting for a “Fair Contract Now.”

Anchor photographer Josh Ross was on the scene to capture images included in the photo slideshow below.

There is a second supporter rally planned for Saturday, February 3rd from 9am-11am.

  1. Pay them fairly!
They are top notch educators, they are worth it for the outstanding education they provide!
They have been and will remain committed to giving their best to all the children.
