HHS Athletics Post-Season Updates

 

The Hingham High School athletics program has experienced tremendous success during this winter season.  Below is a quick summary as many of the teams are entering state tournament competition:

Wrestling – Kaya Bogle (132 lbs) participated in the All State meet this weekend.  Bogle fell in the finals for his weight class.  This 2nd place finish came on the heels of 2nd place finish in the Division 2 State Championship.  Congratulations on a terrific season!!

Boys Hockey (17-4-1) – The boys hockey team was again selected to participate in the state’s Super 8 tournament which pits the top teams in the state regardless of school size or public/private designation.  This is the 4th consecutive year for the Harbormen to be selected.  HHS is seeded #3 overall (the highest ranked public school in the tournament) and will take on #6 Austin Prep.

Girls Hockey (13-6-3) – The Harborwomen are seeded #16 entering the Division 1 State tournament and will be hosting St. Peter Marian (#17) at Pilgrim Arena on Wednesday, February 27 at 5pm.

Girls Basketball (17-3) – The Harborwomen secured the #2 seed in the Division 2 South State tournament and will host Somerset-Berkley Regional (#15) on Wednesday, February 27 at 6:30pm at Hingham High School.

Boys Basketball (16-6) – The Harbormen secured the #7 seed in the Division 2 South State tournament and will host Falmouth (#10) on Thursday, February 28 at 6:30pm at Hingham High School.
