Christmas Tree Sale to Support Youth Group Service Trip:

With the help of the people of Hingham and neighboring towns, for over thirty five years Hingham Congregational Church has sent more than 1000 high school youth to various locations for week long service projects. The Church is again sponsoring their annual Christmas Tree Sale to benefit this years’ service trip. This year's trip will take place June 26 through July 2, 2022 and be a distinct experience as the group will be going to Corrymeela, Northern Ireland's oldest peace and reconciliation organization. In our increasingly divided world, Corrymeela is a movement of people rallied around one inspirational idea: 'together is better'. Our youth will participate in programs at the center, as well as participate in volunteer work.

The service trip will be a great opportunity to learn and grow, as participants meet and interact with people from diverse backgrounds and learn about the challenges of division and the power of reconciliation. In addition, the group will conduct service work in the community. A few slots may still be available so reach out to us if interested at churchoffice@hccucc.com.

We hope that people will again support our efforts and help us by purchasing a fresh cut Nova Scotia Fir Christmas Tree. The sale will follow appropriate COVID guidelines and take place at the Hingham Bathing Beach starting Saturday, November 27th at noon, and will continue through Sunday, December 20th. Hours will be Monday through Thursday 5pm to 7pm, Friday 5pm to 8pm, Saturday 9am to 9pm, and Sunday 12pm to 8pm. We greatly appreciate your support!

BEAUTIFUL TREES AND SAME PRICES AS LAST YEAR.
