In light of the excessive heat warning in effect today through Sunday, the following facilities will be available as cooling centers for the general public:

• South Shore Country Club bowling alley (274 South Street): 11:00am - 4:00pm
• Hingham Recreation Center at Town Hall (210 Central Street): 9:00am - 6:00pm
Please check on family members, friends, elderly neighbors, and pets who may be at risk due to the heat. If you are experiencing serious health difficulties from the heat, please call 911.
