Clandestine Kitchen (CK), a growing healthy home and corporate meal delivery company here on the South Shore, is not only creating fully-prepared, healthy, organic food to fuel and nourish the body, they have also pledged ongoing support to mental health, behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment and recovery at The Grayken Center for Treatment at South Shore Health.

In 2019, CK joined the South Shore Health Foundation Presidents’ Circle, a group of over 130 leading local businesses that have donated at least $25,000 (typically paid in 3 to 5 years) to South Shore Health’s growth and development. With the majority of CK’s Presidents’ Circle pledge earmarked for The Grayken Center for Treatment, CK has also fed front-line hospital workers with in-kind donations of healthy, nutrient-rich meals and snacks to fuel and nourish South Shore doctors, nurses, hospitalists and staff throughout the ongoing  pandemic. CK is also a sponsor of the Moonlight & Miracles Gala event, which took place in October 2021 benefitting the work of The Grayken Center for Treatment.

Most recently, CK owner and South Shore resident, Courtney Doyle, has pledged to raise an additional $15,000 for The Grayken Center for Treatment with her training and participation in the 126th Boston Marathon on April 18 2022. Doyle believes in putting her own two feet into action to further CK’s mission to raise awareness to bringing resources, advancement and treatment to those in our community struggling to overcome that which stands in the way of a healthy mind, body and spirit.

CK, founded by Doyle in 2018, has grown and evolved into being named the best home meal delivery service on the South Shore (South Shore Home Life & Style 2020 reader’s poll), focusing on sourcing local, organic produce and ingredients and working with local purveyors to support small businesses and farms in our area. Everything in the CK kitchen is scratch made “to order” every day by their team of talented chefs, and every member of the CK Team is dedicated to providing exceptional service from the moment an order is placed until the moment it arrives, hand-delivered, on your doorstep.

CK, with commercial kitchen facilities currently located in Duxbury, MA, has developed easy online ordering for weekly home delivery (your delivery day is assigned to you once your first order is placed), curated menus that change weekly and feature the freshest seafood sourced for CK by Jake’s Seafoods (Hull, MA), grassfed proteins from T. F. Kinnealey & Co, Inc, and incorporate locally-made products such as local sea salt from SalterieOne (Duxbury, MA) and cold brew coffee from Seabird Coffee Co. CK owns their own refrigerated delivery vans and all orders are created and filled just hours before the CK Delivery Team heads out to deliver the fully-prepared meals to South Shore residents. CK also offers corporate lunch deliveries and recently launched their new Private Chef Services programs, offering privately curated in-home private dinner parties, weekly in-home meal prep and more.

“We are so proud of our commitment to helping our local community succeed. Supporting small local businesses, the restaurant community, local farms and local community organizations is our passion and we practice what we preach every day,” said Doyle. “We whole-heartedly believe that we are not only here to help nourish the body with healthy and delicious food, but we are also here to be a support to local organizations and programs dedicated to preserving mental and emotional health for all”.
