With so many people traveling this week, and so many events, we’re lucky that our local weather will mainly cooperate, though there will be some dramatic temperature swings.

Week Starts Wet, then Cold

Monday will begin cloudy, with periods of rain during the morning and lunch hour.

By afternoon the rain will start to taper off, and some peeks of sun may develop late day.

Temperatures during the day will climb into the lower 50s, but don't get used to that.

The Monday rain brings with it a cold front, and that front will blow much colder air into the area on Tuesday.

Even with sunshine on Tuesday daytime temperatures will only climb into the upper 30s to near 40! It will be windy as well, making it feel even colder.

Overnight temperatures Tuesday into Wednesday morning will be in the upper 20s to near 30.

Wednesday will also be sunny, and perfectly fine for any travel you have planned, but still chilly with daytime temperatures in the 40s.

Thanksgiving Looks Nice

Thanksgiving itself actually looks much more pleasant.

For morning Turkey Trots, temperatures will be in the 30s with a good deal of sunshine.

As high school football games get underway, temperatures will be climbing into the 40s.

Then, during the afternoon for holiday festivities temperatures will be reaching the low 50s.

More Showers & Cooler After

Another round of showers will pivot through on Friday, with a renewed shot of colder air.

Highs Friday will be in the mid to upper 40s, and even chillier heading into the weekend after the holiday.
