The 63rd Annual Arts Festival at Second Parish in Hingham, 685 Main Street, will begin May 2 and run through May 12. The show will be open from 10:00 to 8:00 daily and on Sundays from Noon to 4:00. Admission is free.
The arts festival features the work of over 200 artists and artisans. Exhibits include paintings, pastels, photography, sculpture and many fine crafts.
A Junior Exhibit includes over 350 pieces of student artwork from many individuals and from twenty South Shore schools.
Festival Events include:
· Opening Night Reception on Wednesday, May 1 from 7:00-9:00 featuring the Norwell High School Jazz Band.
· The Hingham Singers Concert is Saturday, May 4 at 7:00.
A reception at the art show will follow the concert. Tickets are available at Artisans in the Square, 63 South Street, at the Art Show or call 781-749-1671. The tickets are $15 or $20 at the door.
· An Evening of Art and Wine, Friday, May 10 from 5:00-8:00. Main Street Market and Deli will host the wine tasting. Admission is free.
