Stacy Lynn (Ward) Zari

Zari, Stacy Lynn (Ward), 39, of Colorado Springs, CO, formerly of Hingham, MA, passed away suddenly on Saturday January 1, 2022.

Stacy was a graduate of Hingham High School’s Class of 2000. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Corporate Finance & Accounting from Bentley College in 2004. Immediately following her college graduation, she began the next chapter of her life in San Francisco working for Digital Realty Trust.

During her time living in San Francisco, Stacy was introduced to her future husband, Joe. A connection made by mutual friends in 2005, Stacy and Joe’s relationship evolved into an eternal love and they married in 2009. They began their life together as husband and wife in the San Francisco area before moving to Sonoma County in Northern California to start a family.

In 2012, Stacy and Joe founded their business, Zari Consulting Group. That same year they also welcomed their first child, Joey, who was soon joined by Lucy in 2014 and Samantha in 2016. While residing in Sonoma County, Stacy and Joe spent their days together growing their business and raising their children. In 2020, they moved to Colorado Springs where their life was filled with ski trips to Monarch Mountain, hiking at Manitou Incline and exploring all that the Colorado outdoors has to offer. Stacy, Joe and the kids have taken great pleasure in the life they have created in Colorado Springs.

Stacy’s self-described purpose was to provide a fulfilling life for her children. She was passionate about family and friends and enjoyed spending time with those she loved most. An animal enthusiast, Stacy cared for their family dog, cat and chickens while using it as an opportunity to teach her children the importance of responsibility. Stacy was devoted to being a mom and loved nothing more than raising her 3 beautiful children with Joe: Joey, Lucy and Sammie.

Stacy was the beloved wife of Joseph P. Zari and loving mother to Joseph Paul Zari Jr., Lucy Ward Zari and Samantha Hazel Zari of Colorado Springs, CO. She is survived by her parents, Francis V. Ward III and Kathleen (Garrity) Ward of Hingham, MA; sisters, Margaret (Ward) Galligan and her husband Timothy Galligan of Cohasset, MA, and Andrea (Ward) Lanzendorfer and her husband Neil Lanzendorfer of Braintree, MA; along with her grandfather Francis V. Ward Jr of Hingham, MA and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Stacy was also an adoring “Auntie” to her two nieces and three nephews, loving Daughter-in-law to Gerald and Wilma Zari of Colorado Springs, CO; sister-in-law to Gina Zari of San Francisco, CA and Stephanie McCraith of Orinda, CA.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday January 13th from 2-6pm in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home South Weymouth at 809 Main Street. Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church Hingham on Friday January 14th at 10am to be followed by a private burial at High Street Cemetery Hingham.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Stacy’s name may be sent to the National Brain Tumor Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
