Over 200 family and friends joined the students at Saint Paul School for a special "GrandFriends Day" celebration and show.

A wonderful springtime tradition and a great reminder of the generations of care for Saint Paul School and its students occurred last Friday at the school’s annual “GrandFriends Day” event.  Over 200 Grandparents , senior relatives, and friends started the day with a special liturgy with the students. The Mass was a children’s service, in many ways, and in his homily the Fr. Sinisa Ubiparipovic engaged the students to share what a great impact grandparents have on the faith and values of their grandchildren.

Chris and Sara Carey made a special trip from Los Angeles, CA to be with their grandson, Callum McHardy (Grade 1).

After Mass, the “GrandFriends” gathered at the school for a beautiful reception hosted by the Saint Paul School PTO, with contributions from Alma Nove, enjoyed a musical performance by the Preschool – Grade 8 students, and toured the classrooms.

The Saint Paul School Choir sings “God Only Knows” by the Beach Boys .

Students from Grade 8 entertain guests with a ukulele performance.

Phil and Susan Shaw with granddaughter, Gabby Shaw, enjoy their visit to see three grandchildren at Saint Paul School.

Harrison Deane (Preschool) happy to share the day with two grandmothers, Sharon Deane and Cheryl Crawford.

Delaney Littrell (Preschool) thrilled with her visit from her grandmother, Cheryl Kondrat (Cohasset)

Finn Walsh (Preschool) playing games with his grandmother, Maureen Dalton’s (Madison, CT).
