I Regret to Inform you of an Active Duty Death, of a HINGHAM MARINE which occurred on July 3, 2022 at Camp Lejeune, NC.
The remains of a Hingham Marine, SGT Matthew Partyka will be returning to Hingham under Massachusetts State Police escort on: MONDAY, 18 JUL immediately following plane-side Honors at approximately 18:45hrs / 6:45p.m. The Downing Funeral Chapel hearse will be led from Boston / Logan to RTE 93S onto RTE 3S, exiting at DERBY ST. From there the procession will travel along the following roads / streets...

WHITING (Rte. 53S) to MAIN (228N)
MAIN to POND
We ask that ALL CITIZENS of HINGHAM who are along these areas to SILENTLY STAND IN RESPECT, ACCOMPNIED BY AMERICAN / USMC FLAGS (if possible)...ARRIVAL to HINGHAM Town line is expected to be approximately 19:15hrs./ 7:15pm Sgt Partyka will be waked at the Resurrection Church in Hingham on Tuesday, 19JUL from 4-8pm. His Burial Mass is scheduled for 10am on the following day – WEDNESDAY, 20JUL @ 10:00am. He will be laid to rest in with full military Honors / services at St. Paul’s Cemetery.
