Saint Paul School Principal Lisa Fasano is the recipient of the prestigious Bishop Cheverus Medal from Archbishop of Boston, Cardinal Sean O’Malley. Ms. Fasano is the first recipient from the Archdiocese of Boston in the field of education to receive this great honor.

In 2008, the Archdiocese of Boston instituted the award in recognition of exemplary service given in the name of the Lord. Over two hundred years ago, Bishop Cheverus responded to the call to service in Boston by pledging all his talents and abilities for the good of the Church and her people. Ms. Fasano has been recognized for her selfless dedication and commitment and her many contributions to advancing Christ’s mission.

On Sunday, November 24th at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston, Cardinal Sean awarded the Cheverus Medal to Ms. Fasano. Joining Fasano at this special celebration were her family and friends, Fr. Tom Nestor, Pastor of St. Paul Parish, and staff and families from Saint Paul School.   On behalf of the Parish, School Board and the family and friends of Saint Paul School, Fr. Nestor shares “congratulations to and appreciation for Principal Fasano and her selfless devotion to our school.”
