Public ferry service from Hingham to Peddocks Island has returned for the first time since 2019, connecting South Shore communities more directly to Boston Harbor Islands National and State Park. This ferry service will run Thursdays-Sundays during the season.

Through this ferry service operated by Boston Harbor City Cruises, residents of South Shore communities like Braintree, Cohasset, Hingham, Hull, Norwell, Quincy, Scituate, and Weymouth will be able to access all that Peddocks Island has to offer. Visitors to the Island can enjoy an ocean-side picnic, take in the native plant and animal life on a self-guided hiking tour, and discover the unique history of Fort Andrews along with the restored World War II-era chapel that calls Peddocks Island home.
