Local flexible office space provider, Workspace, is adding another South Shore location to its coworking offerings with an expansion into Cohasset. Starting August 1st, Workspace will be operating Work Station and a formal acquisition will be completed by November 1, 2022. The expansion will add 36 private offices, 3 meeting rooms, and a spacious and well-appointed common area for coworking to Workspace’s existing offerings in Hingham, Canton, and Braintree.
Workspace owner, Justin Moran, took over the Hingham-based business (formerly South Shore Business Center) in 2015 and has grown it substantially in the past 7 years. First, adding two office suites to the Hingham location, then expanding to Canton in 2016, opening a Braintree location in September of 2021 then doubling its size in June of 2022, and now the addition of Work Station.
Moran was thrilled when Joy and Rick Schiffmann, founders of Work Station nearly a decade ago, agreed that Workspace would be a natural fit to take over their business. “This is a fantastic opportunity to expand the Workspace offering,” he said. “The Work Station community operates just like Workspace does in many ways.
