Hingham High School Drama club will be performing the 1960s classic musical “Sweet Charity” on November 18th-20th. Sweet Charity follows the romantic trials and tribulations of Charity Hope Valentine, “a girl who wanted to be loved.” Charity is a taxi dancer, a dance partner-for-hire at a dance hall in New York City.
Lots of song and dance numbers including some of the more famous ones, such as “Hey Big Spender” “If my friends could see me now” and “There’s gotta be something better than this”
Come see the talented cast perform this classic at HHS! The show starts at 7:30pm on Thursday, November 18th and 8:00pm on Friday the 19th & Saturday the 20th.
