Hingham Barnes & Noble first to launch Paper Source shop-in-shop experience

November 20, 2021 by Carol Britton Meyer

Paper Source,  a premiere paper store focused on creating experiences that "spark delight and foster more thoughtful connection," now displays a wide variety of products inside the Barnes & Noble at Derby Street Shops.

The Hingham store is the first to fully launch a Paper Source shop-in-shop experience, featuring unique gifts, cards, gift wrap, stationery, crafts, party supplies, and more. A second shop-in-shop will open on Monday in Charlotte, North Carolina, with plans for more in 2022.

Over 100 Barnes & Noble stores carry Paper Source products now, with plans to introduce new product lines in 2022.

"These products are currently available in our Hingham store to browse among and purchase," B&N Manager Erin Miller told the Hingham Anchor. You can also shop online at www.barnesandnoble.com.

This new shop-in-shop will add an additional flair to what the Derby Street Shops already offers. Paper Source offers an "elevated, unique, and gorgeous line of products that our shoppers are going to love, and this will without a doubt attract new customers to the Derby Street Shops as well," Miller said.

When the wide range of Paper Source products was first displayed at Barnes & Noble for purchase last Monday, customers were immediately drawn to the many offerings.  "We have had a lot of positive feedback from our shoppers, and we’re really excited to be able to offer merchandise that will appeal to so many different types of customers," Miller said.

It's not surprising that Paper Source products have high appeal. "Book customers love novelty and fun items to go along with their book purchases," Miller said.  "The Paper Source product line offers so much to those customers as well as others just looking for stunning gift wrap and accoutrements to make their gifts to friends and family really stand out. Who doesn’t love fun mugs, candles, tote bags and more?!"

Elliott Management, the owner of Barnes & Noble, bought Paper Source out of bankruptcy earlier this year.
