We are so excited to announce a giveaway with Derby Street Shops for our Hingham Anchor App users! We’ve teamed up with our friends at Derby Street Shops to give Anchor App users the chance to win $500 in gift cards to use at Derby Street Stores!
Derby Street Shops has welcomed back the community as it’s shops and restaurants have reopened their doors and new businesses have debuted, including Gelato & Chill, SUNS Outdoor Furniture, and pop-up SOLO Golf. As a way to ensure to best possible customer experience and the safety of its guests, the open-air destination has enhanced its property wide offerings, including a convenient Pick-Up Quick curbside service, expanded outdoor dining, and private shopping at select locations. In addition, an elevated fourth iteration of its popular outdoor fitness and wellness series, Derby Street Sweat, began in July and is running through September with a variety of workouts, open to the public at a limited capacity.

Anchor App Giveaway Details
To enter the giveaway, simply follow these steps:
- Download the free Hingham Anchor App (available for iOs users in the Apple Store)
- Take a screenshot of the App downloaded to your phone and share it on Instagram or Facebook tagging @anchorhingham and @derbystshops with the hashtag #AnchorAppGiveaway.
- If you don’t use social media, you can download the app and email a screenshot of your phone along with your name and hometown to giveaway@hinghamanchor.com.
One winner will be selected at random on August 14th to win $500 in gift cards to your choice of Derby Street restaurants and stores.
Only one entry per person and you must be a resident of the South Shore (Massachusetts) to enter. You must be 18 to win, no purchase necessary. The Hingham Anchor and Derby Street Shops will not use your information for any purposes outside the of the Hingham Anchor giveaway (this giveaway is not affiliated with Instagram or Facebook).
Derby Street Safety & Cleanliness
With guest and staff safety at the forefront of its priorities, Derby Street has increased sanitization practices, including thorough and frequent cleaning of all common area spaces using CDC approved disinfectants, with increased focus on high-touch areas, such as doors, trash receptacles and furniture. In addition, guests and staff are required to wear face coverings as recommended by the CDC and in keeping with local government guidance. For those in need of a face covering, Derby Street is offering complimentary face masks to guests upon request via the Derby Street management office. Hand sanitizer is also readily available in common area spaces. To promote social distancing, visitors and employees will be encouraged and reminded to remain six feet apart by way of helpful signage.
As part of its new offerings, Derby Street has debuted Pick-Up Quick, a curbside pick-up program providing customers with a safe and convenient option for shopping and restaurant takeout. Designated parking areas labeled by color and number are available throughout the property. These support pick-up for any purchases completed over the phone, online or via third-party services. Businesses offering Pick-Up Quick include Nantucket Kids, Polkadog Bakery, B. Good, CAVA, Crate & Barrel, and Barnes & Noble.
