Notre Dame Academy in Hingham is proud to announce that
the NHL Coaches Association (NHLCA) recognized Varsity Ice Hockey Assistant Coach

The NHLCA is committed to developing female coaches and strengthening the coaching pathway.
The NDA’s varsity hockey team, led by Coach Scheinberg and Head Coach Bill Burke, compiled
a 14–2–3 record and the #1 MIAA power ranking. In the postseason, the team went on to
MIAA’s Division 1 Final Four.
NDA president, Annemarie Lynch Kenneally, ’80, P ’13 ’15 noted, “Throughout the season, this

initiatives. She works with NDA girls in grades 6 -12, helping them learn how to be strong,
confident, and resilient in every aspect of their lives.
Ms. Scheinberg takes both her roles at Notre Dame Academy to heart, noting “I want to inspire
the next generation of female leaders and build a culture where girls are valued as people first,
fully supported, and empowered to become confident, resilient leaders who embrace
challenges.”
Madison Scheinberg earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from Suffolk
University, where she balanced academics with five years of NCAA competition in both ice
hockey and golf. She has her Master’s in Sport Psychology.
