The Trustees of Reservations (The Trustees) today announces a Community Picnic at Weir River Farm scheduled for Sunday, June 4 from 12-2PM. This inclusive event, offered in partnership with the Hingham Pride Project, welcomes the LGBTQ+ community to kick off Pride Month with friends and allies while enjoying festive live music, food, and beverages, and the best views of Boston on the South Shore. Visitors are encouraged to pack their picnic blankets and beach chairs and relax with friends and family while listening to live music by local duo, Montello North. Mom on the Go food truck will be on hand, serving up their famous grilled cheese sandwiches, and Barrel House Z will feature craft beer. The Hingham Pride Project will give away free Pride flags and other merchandise. The Weir River Farm barnyard will be open, so picnickers may visit with our animals and learn from our team of Farmer/Educators, climb aboard a tractor, and choose a rainbow “tattoo.” The farm store, filled with delicious locally-sourced picnic supplies as well as Trustees-grown meat, will also be open for shopping.

Children 2 and under are free. Admission includes everything except food and beverages.
