The Trustees of Reservations (The Trustees) today announces the return of its popular Sunset Picnic series at Weir River Farm in Hingham, running on four Thursday nights this summer, from 6PM – sunset, starting on June 26.
The series is a collaboration between The Trustees, local musicians, food trucks and craft breweries. Guests are encouraged to spread out on picnic blankets and beach chairs, relax with family and friends, stroll down to the barnyard to greet Betty the sheep and Petunia the pig, and watch the sun set over the Boston skyline.
Summer 2025 series schedule:
- June 26, 6PM, featuring Mike McHugh, Break Rock Brewing, KC’s Curbside Bistro, and The Nuttiest Cookie
- July 17, 6PM, featuring The Lied To’s, Stellwagen Beer Company, Mom on the Go, and Smiles by the Mile Ice Cream
- July 31, 6PM, featuring Ward Hayden, Vitamin Sea Brewing, The Sausage Guy, and The Nuttiest Cookie
- August 28, 5PM, featuring Aldous Collins, Widowmaker Brewing, Wanderlust food truck, The Sausage Guy, and Smiles by the Mile Ice Cream
Children 2 and under are free.
Tickets are available online and at the gate. Adult admission is $9 for Trustees Members and $15 for nonmembers, and children ages 2-12 are $6 for Members and $12 for nonmembers. Children under 2 are free. Free field parking is available at 140 Turkey Hill Lane in Hingham. We love our furry friends, however, as this is a working farm with live animals, dogs are not permitted on the property.
