Downtown Hingham is getting a little extra love this Valentine’s season! This Saturday, February 8, a temporary heart sculpture by local artist Lisa Corrado will be unveiled, bringing a beautiful and heartfelt addition to the community.
Lisa, a talented artist and graphic designer known for her work with businesses like Wahlburgers and the Fruit Center, has generously created this installation pro bono to spread love and positivity throughout downtown. The sculpture will be installed on Friday, February 7, and everyone is invited to visit, take pictures, and engage with this special piece of public art.
On Saturday, February 8, Hingham Downtown is the place to be! Come downtown to shop, eat, and enjoy local pop-ups, workshops, and special Valentine’s and Galentine’s Day treats. Bring your spouse, friends, or family and make it a date to remember!
Event Highlights:
Heart Sculpture Reveal – Starting at 11:00 AM outside La Petite Maison. Snap a picture, tag @hinghamdowntown, and enter to win tickets to the Atlantic Symphony Orchestra on 2/16 and other exciting prizes!
Ditty and Dough Fresh Bread Truck – South Shore’s artisan microbakery makes its debut at 11:00 AM.
Blackbird Baking Company – Enjoy warm cookies, decorated heart cookies, and hot chocolate from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

Mrs. Mekkler Mercantile at Acquire Good – Offering handcrafted Valentine’s chocolates, gourmet treats, and specialty gifts from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Perfect for surprising your loved ones with something sweet and unique!
Lincoln Day at Old Ship Church – A free historical event from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, celebrating the legacy of Abraham Lincoln with engaging talks, historical reenactments, and exhibits. Learn more at www.hinghamhistorical.org.
