“Happy 250th USA” is the theme of the Hingham Parade. With July 4th falling on a Saturday and with all the floats ending at the location of Hingham Farmers Market on Station Street, Hingham Farmers Market will have a special edition of the market July 3 from 3pm to 7pm.
From the 2nd of July to 4th there is something for everyone to do in Hingham.
July 2 is Hingham Independence Day at Hingham Bathing Beach with food trucks and live performance by Booty Vortex at 7pm . The evening is punctuated with the drone light show after dark. Also on July 2 is the Making Waves Beer Garden at the Hingham Maritime Center that starts at 4pm and will have Untold Brewing Beer, food trucks and live music.
July 3 is the Hingham Farmers Market 3pm to 7pm at our regular location. Our vendors look forward to providing you your ingredients for the July 4th picnic. Experience the vibrant community atmosphere as you support local agriculture and enjoy the holiday weekend. Eamon Anderson plays his upbeat music and Vitamin Sea Brewing will be there to provide your beverage needs. Over 40 vendors including our regular produce vendors Aeonian Farm, Teal Farm, Stargazer Hollow Farm and Freitas Farm alongside our chicken and beef vendor Copicut Farm. And Hingham Farmers Market will have the food truck “Mom On the Go” with their variety of grilled cheese sandwiches ready for an evening snack or meal.
On July 4th, there are 2 events. At 7am the annual road race starts at Hingham Middle School and ends at the Loring Theatre. 10am is the parade. Please look at the Town of Hingham website https://www.hingham-ma.gov/504/Event-Information for the street closures. Hingham Farmers Market will have a float and looks forward to seeing all of you along the parade route.
Hingham Farmers Market is the 3rd oldest market in Massachusetts beginning in 1977. HFM accepts SNAP and is open at 95 Station Street through November 21 from 9am to 1pm except July 3 when our market is 3pm to 7pm.
