The South Elementary School PTO is improving upon our playground by creating more inclusive spaces where kids can be imaginative. The project, set for construction in mid August, includes the addition of an amphitheater and clay table garden, which will be used by the South community in ways such as creative play, performances and as an outdoor classroom. To fund this project, the PTO has launched a summer fundraiser, “Paving the Way to Creative Play”, and is reaching out to the South community - current and future families as well as alumni, and friends of South- for participation.
