If you have excess or unwanted candy from your Easter egg hunts or activities, consider sending it to our deployed US Troops in the Middle East. They would like nostalgic and yummy Easter treats, bringing a taste of home.
Many local families, schools, and Scout troops have contributed their excess candy at Easter and Halloween in the past to the Soldiers Care Package Outreach sponsored by the First Baptist Church of Hingham. The Outreach office will then pack your candy and send it to Point Leaders who will distribute the candy to their units and even local children around their foreign posts.
You can drop off your contributions in the 24/7 brown trunk under the SoldiersCarePackages.com sign on the right side of the church in the parking lot, 85 Main Street, Hingham, 2 doors down from the Loring Cinema.
We appreciate everyone’s support as do our Soldiers halfway around the world.
