The International Private School, SELA, is excited to announce its Annual Gala on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM at Granite Links in Quincy, MA. What began in 2024 as SELA’s 20th-anniversary celebration has grown into a highly anticipated annual tradition.

The Gala will unite over 300 attendees—including SELA parents, alumni, staff, and community members—for a night of celebration and gratitude. This event will feature a cocktail attire dress code and is open to both current and past families as well as future SELA families and the broader community.

“We’re thrilled to host this special evening to celebrate SELA’s continued commitment to education and community,” said Sandra Baldeon, SELA’s Founder, Owner and Executive Director. “Our Gala has become more than just a celebration; it’s a night where we reflect on our schools growth and achievements, while coming together in support of an important cause—helping children in need.”

Highlights of the evening include:

●  Keynote speaker: Dr. Kimberly Crespo, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, Director of “The Bilingual Learning Laboratory” at Boston University, will share insights on bilingual education and language acquisition.

●  SELA alumni guest speakers will share their personal stories and how attending SELA for elementary school opened doors for their future academic and professional success.

●  Captivating Latin dance performances by The Querencia Dance Company, the heart of Boston’s salsa scene, adding a festive and cultural flair to the evening.

● An exciting Silent Auction, featuring unique items with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Cradles to Crayons, a nonprofit dedicated to fighting children’s clothing insecurity across the U.S.

SELA is committed to making a meaningful impact, with all proceeds from the Silent Auction, as well as any net profits (after event costs) from Sponsorships & Ticket Sales, donated to Cradles to Crayons. Our goal for the 2025 Gala is to raise $10,000 to help provide essential clothing for children in need.

Tickets are on sale now for $65 per person. To purchase tickets and learn more about the event, visit: https://bit.ly/selagala.
