Immediate past president of the Hingham Cemetery Board, John Davenport, presented Kateyln Erickson, the winner of the cemetery’s 2023 scholarship award, at the Ames Chapel in Hingham. Katelyn won for her essay on family genealogy, which involved considerable research. She heads to Ohio State University in the fall.
The Hingham Cemetery Board Scholarship Award is an annual award and applications are available in the spring for any high school senior who lives in Hingham or attends Hingham High School.
