Lynne graduated from Hingham High School in 1977, Bay Path College in 1981 and Framingham State College in 1983. Lynne worked as an RN at Mass General Hospital for almost 40 years, much of the time in the pediatric unit caring for the sickest children.

Lynne grew up in Hingham attending school surrounded by her large extended family. Her mother was one of nine children and she had many childhood memories with the dozens of cousins, aunts and uncles she grew up with and remained close to throughout her life. Family was a very important part of her life. She also forged many close friendships that lasted her entire life. Her high school and college friends remained supportive through the many ups and downs of life.

As a young girl Lynne began babysitting for a family from Hingham who summered on Martha’s Vineyard. She fell in love with the island, namely Cape Pogue and spent just about every summer there with the family. They formed a lifelong bond that existed through Lynne’s entire life. Her love of the beach, ocean, Cape Pogue and the Vineyard is reflected in the many pictures and items in her home.

She knew from a young age that she wanted to be a nurse and achieved her goal of becoming a Registered Nurse. Lynne was incredibly devoted to her profession. Her dream of being a pediatric nurse was realized at Mass General Hospital for Children, treating children with devastating diseases. She formed life long bonds with the families and children she cared for. She received many accolades for her passion, care and hard work as a nurse.

Lynne was devoted to her nieces and nephews who called her Beautiful Aunt Lynne. She traveled to many places with them including Nantucket, Ireland, Disney World, cruises and of course many trips to the beaches. Many memories were created during these times that we look back on with fondness.

Lynne was a strong source of support to her family and friends. She was generous with her time and love, and brought joy and laughter wherever she went. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
