Last Thursday, November 28, Hingham Square was alive with music and merriment as Miracle on Main Street took over the Hingham Heritage Museum for the evening. This event raised over $17,000 which helps pay for Hingham’s annual Christmas in the Square.  The event had over 170 attendees and more than 50 silent and live auction items. The live auction item to Ride on the Fire Truck to Christmas in the Square was once again the most coveted prize of the auctioneer Jim Well’s live auction.  Guests enjoyed delicious food donated from local restaurants and music by Robin Teague’s “Take Out” cover band. The Hingham Downtown Association wants to thank all those that attended and supported the fundraiser. Christmas in the Square has been a Hingham holiday tradition for more than 35 years and is organized and 100% privately funded by the Hingham Downtown Association. The Hingham Downtown Association is still accepting donations for Christmas in the Square.  Checks can be made out to Hingham Downtown Association and sent to: PO box 274, Hingham, MA 02043
