Mary A. (Sestito) Waugh of Hingham, died unexpectedly on November 10, 2021. The beloved wife of 46 years to Eric Waugh of Hingham. Devoted mother of Timothy Waugh of Hingham and Kimberly Waugh of Plymouth. Daughter of the late Bruno and Adelina (Molea) Sestito. Cherished sister of Dolores Marino and her husband William of Hingham, Carol Sestito of Las Vegas and Laura Schermerhorn and her husband Kevin of South Weymouth. Beloved niece and goddaughter of Mary Schiavo of Hingham. Mary is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many cousins.
A lifelong resident of Hingham, Mary graduated Hingham High in 1969 and worked for Talbots before starting a family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her young nieces and nephews, and later, great nephews and great nieces. She taught Religious Education in Hull and Hingham for many years. Mary brought love, and often her famous meatballs, wherever she went. She loved celebrating holidays and the Madonna Feast.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM.
Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
