Hingham families juggling work, school, practices, and activities have a new option for getting their kids where they need to go. LOOP Shuttle, a Hingham-based rideshare service, has officially launched, offering safe, reliable rides tailored to the packed schedules of local families.
LOOP was founded to solve a problem nearly every parent knows well: coordinating rides for sports, activities, and the everyday demands of a growing kid’s schedule. The service uses vetted local drivers (with extensive background checks) and monitored Mercedes Sprinter vans to give parents peace of mind while giving kids a dependable way to get to and from where they need to be.
“LOOP was created to help busy families safely and reliably navigate the transportation challenges that come with sports, activities, part-time jobs, and growing independence,” said Liz Klein, CEO of LOOP Shuttle. “We’re excited to bring that service to families right here in Hingham.”

In addition to regular rides, LOOP also provides transportation for events including birthday parties, concerts, and other special occasions.
Pricing
LOOP on-demand rides start at a $20 flat rate for the first 3 miles, with an additional $5 per mile beyond that. Families can book individual on-demand rides or set up a season-long arrangement for recurring destinations like sports practices. Group discounts are also available for kids riding together — 20% off for two kids, 30% off for three, and 40% off for four or more.
