  • Article 2 - Construction of a new Public Safety Facility
  • Article 3 - Transfer of Unassigned Fund Balance to a new Stabilization Fund tooffset the tax impacts of these projects

Logistical Information
Check-in for Special Town Meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. ahead of the 7:00 p.m. start time.

Parking is available at two High School lots – the front lot and the far lot down Union Street beyond the ball fields. Overflow parking is available, first at South Shore Baptist Church at 578 Main Street. Once the Baptist Church lot is full, the Town will open Wompatuck State Park for overflow parking. Shuttle buses will be running to and from the sites from 6:00 p.m. until 30 minutes after Special Town Meeting ends.

Masks are not required inside the High School. The Town will make disposable masks and hand sanitizer available to attendees at the meeting. The Town is also making an outside tent, seating 30, available to those who wish to participate in an open air environment. Those seats are available on a first come, first served basis.

Accessibility is a priority. Handicapped parking is available in the High School front and back parking lots. A limited number of large print warrant books are available on request at registration desks. The Town is piloting live closed captioning in the gymnasium at this meeting. Accessible seating will be spread out across the gymnasium, auditorium, cafeteria, and in the tent. Finally, accessible restrooms are available in the High School.
