Dear Plymouth River families,
The facilities team is currently investigating an area of roof at Plymouth River School near the cafeteria that is demonstrating signs of structural stress due to the snow load. Roofing specialists were contracted earlier in the week and have been on site to support snow removal and a structural engineer is coming in to assess. Out of an abundance of caution, we are bussing PRS students and staff to the high school where they will engage in a full day of learning. Lunch will be served in the HHS cafeteria and this afternoon students who take the bus home will be transported from HHS to their usual stop. We will be in touch shortly to discuss afternoon dismissal plans for students who are generally walkers. We will also follow up with details regarding Kids in Action.
