As America celebrates its 250th year, House of Art is delighted to present the first-ever U.S. solo exhibition and event series by internationally renowned British street artist Nathan Bowen. Owner & Head Curator Emma Richardson shares, “Bringing a London street art icon to U.S. ground feels like a full‑circle moment—an exchange of culture, energy, and artistic joy.”
Featuring 30+ original pieces, The British Are Comingis an immersive collection of playful mixed media and painted work that integrates Bowen’s characteristic style—bold street art showcased in urban centers across Europe—with new avenues of inspiration from across Boston and the South Shore.
Following in the footsteps of legendary street artists Banksy, Thierry Noir, and Invader, Bowen’s artistic philosophy rings true throughout the exhibition: “Whether it’s painted on a city wall or hanging in a gallery, my goal has always been the same—to bring more color, imagination, and joy into the world.”
