Hingham’s Spencer Cassell is a big man and he has some big fans from Hingham.
Cassell is a 6’6” 282 lbs. offensive lineman at Harvard and helped the Crimson defeat St. Thomas of Minnesota in their home opener last Saturday, 45-13
The son of Vance and Mary Cassell was cheered on by a number of players from Hingham Youth Football. Spencer is a HYF alum and was an all-state tight end and defensive end as a senior at Hingham HS. He was also on the Hingham Boys State Champion lacrosse team in 2016.
Spencer was excited to have his own cheering squad from Hingham which brought back memories of his fun days on Lynch Field.
