Hingham remains in ‘yellow’ COVID-19 zone for fourth month, with 22 new cases since last report

While remaining in the lower-risk COVID-19 "yellow" zone for the fourth consecutive month, the number of new cases reported since last week's Massachusetts Department of Public Health statistics were released is 22, down from 44 reported on April 22, 31 reported the previous week, and 47 the prior week.

There were 72 new COVID-19 cases reported in the last 14 days, down from 80 last week. The total number of COVID-19 cases in Hingham since Jan. 1, 2020 is 1,929.

The mPathy COVID-19 testing center at 308 Cushing St. is open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Preference for Hingham residents and town employees will still be given between 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. each testing day.  Appointments may be made online at https://www.mpathy.org/schedule Walk-ins are also accepted.
