The Hingham Municipal Lighting Plant (HMLP) is continuing its annual food drive benefiting the Hingham Food Pantry through September 17. As summer comes to a close, community members are encouraged to help support local families in need by donating non-perishable, unexpired food items.
Donations can be dropped off at Hingham Light’s office at 31 Bare Cove Park Drive, Hingham, Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Suggested donations include pasta sauce, canned soups, minute rice, granola bars, cookies and crackers, and ground coffee.
Every donation makes a difference.
