Under a new Head Coach, Eric Gill, the Hingham High School Varsity golf team is off to fantastic start with a 4-0 record as they start their season. Senior captains Bobby Peirce, Connor Cummings and Victor San Antonio are leading a very talented group of players. The team beat Scituate in their first home match at South Shore Country Club with Victor San Anotonio and Drew Golden posting the team’s lowest scores of 38. The Harbormen headed to North Quincy and came home with another win as Connor Cummings showed up with an impressive 3 under par score of 31. It was a true team effort as Hingham posted a team score of 204 which is the lowest in school history. JD Flynn and Victor San Anotnio shot even par rounds of 36 bringing home yet another win for Hingham as they travelled to North Plymouth. A home match at South Shore Country Club against Marshfield was the closest match to date but Hingham secured another win as Carson Erick posted a 3 under par score of 33.
