Hingham All-American Picnic And Dance Party At The Harbor July 2

June 23, 2026 Submitted By The Harbor Development Committee

Through the amazing generosity of the Mike Reilly Classic, Clearly Frozen Ice Cubes (a local Hingham small business), and about fifteen generous Hingham families, The Harbor Development Committee and Historical Society with the support of the Town of Hingham are bringing a party to the harbor on Thursday July 2 to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution.

Children’s activities including a bouncy castle and face painting will start at 3pm and will run to 5pm, when food trucks arrive.   Booty Vortex, and ever popular 11-piece band, will play from 7-9pm.   There will not be a drone show due to lack of funding this year, but there may be a surprise before Booty Vortex starts to play.

There will be limited parking at the Bathing Beach.  Alternative parking is available in the Station Street parking lot.  For more information about events to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, please visit https://hingham250.org
