The third annual Salty Bow Sprints Regatta happens this Sunday, April 30 from 9-10:30 a.m. on the Back River in Bare Cove Park. The Hingham High School Crew team girls and boys varsity boats will compete in six head races against rival Duxbury High School. The community is invited to come watch and cheer on the hometown team!
The Salty Bow Sprints have become a spring tradition for the HHS Crew team, who also hosted the first Frosty Bow Sprints in Hingham last November. The crews will compete in eight-boats (eight rowers and coxswain) in 1,350 meter races. Parent volunteers will be cooking up breakfast foods and coffee, available for sale.
