GET BUSY LIVING Lacrosse

March 24, 2023 Submitted by Michael Brazis

Tomorrow (Saturday the 25th) at Hingham High the Hingham Boys Lacrosse program hosts Huntington High School ( Long Island NY) and Wellesley High School ( MA) in  pre season scrimmages. Last year Hingham travelled to Long Island and played Huntington and Cold Spring Harbor. This year Huntington returns the favor.

The teams will honor three alumni who were taken away too soon. Hingham’s #27 Jon Ledwick, Huntington’s #19 Greg Kline and Wellesley’s #16 Connor Darcey. All played the game with love and exemplified the meaning of lacrosse’s nickname “the medicine game”.

Scrimmages start at 11:00 am both on the turf and the far fields at Hingham High. Weather might be an issue… so bring a raincoat or a good umbrella… rain or shine. Like Greg Kline used to say … GET BUSY LIVING!

The teams will gather before the last scrimmage ( Hingham Huntington @ 1:30pm) for a quick ceremony.
