We are pleased to announce that last evening, Dr. Christine Panarese was named the Executive Director of Student Services for the Hingham Public Schools, effective July 1, 2025.
We are grateful to Dr. Cataldo who has served as Interim Executive Director for the past two years, providing steady leadership and ensuring continuity within the department while overseeing the Special Education audit. Dr. Panarese will build upon this foundation, advancing the strategic plan to strengthen Student Services.
Dr. Panarese is an experienced and dedicated public school administrator with over 25 years of experience in education, including 18 years in various leadership roles in Massachusetts. Most recently, Christine has served as Director of Student Services for Silver Lake Regional School District. She previously held district-level positions as Assistant Director of Special Education with Boston Public Schools and has also worked as a building-level administrator for the Fall River Public Schools, Swansea Public Schools, and Wareham Public Schools.
Dr. Panarese earned her Doctorate in Education from Boston College, a Master of Education from Curry College, and Bachelor’s degrees in both special education and psychology from Bridgewater State University. Additionally, Christine holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS), which she earned from Bridgewater State University.
