Join us for an Evening with the Author — Hingham’s town historian, James B. Conroy –Tuesday, Sept. 15, from 7 to 8:45 p.m. in the Whiton Room of the Hingham Public Library.
Conroy will talk about his new book, “Hingham in the American Revolution: Not the gift of Kings,” a deeply researched, character-driven account of Hingham and its people in the run up to the Revolution, the war for independence, and its aftermath.
Conroy is a nationally recognized, award-winning author of five critically acclaimed books of narrative history.
