Downtown Hingham has a little something juicy to celebrate: Hanover couple Jon and Shannon Bruno of the beloved Norwell Press Juice Bar will open up a sister location in Hingham village at 93 South Street in the former Salty Days location.
Press Juice Bar was founded by the Brunos in 2018. The married couple didn’t necessarily set out to open their own fresh food operation, but it did happen organically. When their daughter was diagnosed with autism as well as celiac disease, the family had to make a shift. After extensive research, the Brunos set out on their quest to eat a clean and nutritious diet that would complement their daughter’s health. After seeing the immediate benefits of incorporating a healthy lifestyle and nutrient-dense foods used as fuel for the body, the pair decided to share their passion for healthful juices and food in the South Shore community.
In early November, Press Juice Bar will open its doors to the Hingham community. The menu will feature freshly-pressed juices, smoothies, oats, wellness shots, salads, wraps, sandwiches, soups, toasts, protein balls, NOBL cold brew coffees, and catering. Shannon creates and makes the soups and overnight oats from scratch herself and keeps the homemade recipe close to her chest. The couple sources locally and organically whenever possible, and boasts plenty of gluten- and dairy-free foods, as well as vegan, and other allergen-friendly items.
Jon and Shannon share, “We are so excited to be here and bring what we’ve learned in Norwell to the Hingham community. We look forward to opening our doors in a few weeks and share our passion for a healthy lifestyle to a health-conscience area, while also getting involved with the community and schools. We are a family-friendly and dog-friendly operation, and we can’t wait to welcome you.”
Press Juice Bar plans on operating Monday through Friday from 8am – 5pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8:30am – 3pm.
