Untold Brewing, in partnership with Derby Street Shops, is thrilled to announce the opening of the highly anticipated “The Green in partnership with Untold Brewing” beer garden. This marks the third year of The Green, bringing the best in craft beer, family-friendly activities, and a vibrant community atmosphere.
Situated on the charming shady breezeway alongside REI, The Green in partnership with Untold Brewing beer garden will be open most Saturdays and select Fridays and Sundays between June and October, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. With its family and pup-friendly environment, The Green promises to be a welcoming destination for everyone to enjoy.
Guests can savor Untold Brewing’s renowned year-round fan favorite beers and indulge in a weekly rotation of specialty releases. In addition to an exceptional beer selection, the beer garden will also offer a variety of wines and non-alcoholic beverages to cater to all tastes.
Caroline Hessberg, General Manager of Derby Street Shops, shared her excitement about the collaboration, saying, “Untold has always been a beloved local business within the South Shore community, and we’re honored to have them at Derby Street in their restaurant space and for a third season of the Beer Garden. The Beer Garden offers another al fresco area for guests to relax, unwind, and spend time with others in a family-friendly environment.”
Excitingly, this year’s beer garden experience is further enhanced by the opening of Untold Brewing’s year-round taproom and restaurant located just steps away. Guests can now order from Untold’s full dining menu, featuring classic American pub fare such as flatbreads, sandwiches, salads, as well as beer hall classics like wings, nachos, and brewer’s pretzels. For the little ones, there are specially designed meals that will surely delight. Within minutes, guests can pick up food orders from the taproom, ensuring a seamless and convenient dining experience.
Additionally, visitors to the beer garden can now purchase packed beer to go and merchandise directly from the taproom, an exciting addition that was not available in previous years. This allows guests to take home their favorite Untold Brewing beverages and merchandise with ease. The newly designed beer garden boasts modern and comfortable decor, elevating it to one of the most elegant beer gardens on the south shore and inviting guests to kick back and enjoy it all in a relaxing environment.
Co-owner of Untold Brewing, Mike Dyer, expressed his excitement about the beer garden, stating, “The Green has been our summer home for the past two years. We’re excited to return and offer an even better guest experience with great food via our year-round taproom and a fresh look with comfortable new furniture. Guests can enjoy a rotating selection of our latest releases and year-round favorites, plus guest taps, wines, and non-alcoholic offerings. By 1 p.m., the sun dips behind the buildings, leaving the garden cool and breezy even on the hottest summer days. With a cold beer in hand and music in the air, it’s an oasis for all.”
